Tony Lopez is a 5'11" 200lb catcher from Tomball, Texas. He was born on August 12th, 2036. He was acquired by the Talons via the 2057 Ammy draft, being the 20th selection in round 1. Tony has gradually improved each of his 4 years in the BBA, most recently recording a 4.0 WAR in 2062, despite missing the last three weeks of the season due to injury.

Talons Scouting Director Schytt E. Pyck commented: "We're not really sure why Lopez is good. He's only rated 50 and there are a bunch of 5's in his batting ratings. His RTO is horrible and his ZR was essentially neutral. Does anyone know why this guy just had a 4 WAR season? Because we don't. Anyone want to trade for him?"

go Talons.

Good OBP and high framing runs. I admit I ponder if OOTP is over-calculating catcher defense.

119 wRC+ at catcher is nothing to sneeze at. Lots of people playing all frame, no hit catchers.
