Continuing with the recent trend of exceedingly boring Team News Articles, let's take a look at Talons Free Agent signings this past offseason.

RP Huang Cheng, 4 years/12 million
Cheng comes over from the GBC, specifically Tokyo where the Talons Reclusive GM became familiar with his talents. Cheng is likely to become the primary middle reliever or even setup man in Phoenix, if the Talons choose to use one.

1B Keenan Reis, 1 year/2 million
Reis is a professional hitter. who plays a good defensive first base and can even fill in at third base in a stretch. He was signed to join 1B Jorge Pena in a platoon role vs lefties.

SS Niaz Minhas, 6 years/40 million
Minhas becomes the starting SS in Phoenix for the time being. Various opt outs and team options mean it might not be all 6 years, but in the meantime Minhas will contribute with his 10 SS rating, as long as he stays reasonably healthy.

1B Karim Hamdan, IFA/4.5 million
The Talons had sworn off the IFA market for many years now. But, if developed, Hamdan is a legit power bat who could potentially play a very good defensive first base. At age 16, he's 6'7"/220, so we'll see if this physical specimen actually translates into real development.
