After being inducted into the Denny's Talons Hall Of low Standards Presented By Subaru last fall, former Phoenix 3B Pankratz Isekenmeir has been named hitting coach for the Rookie League Traverse City Talons. The native of Bamberg, Germany is reportedly very excited to join the staff of the franchise that originally drafted him in 2037.
"I actually played here in 2037," Isekenmeir said. "So I know how critical it is to get our newest draftees started out on the right foot, integrating them into our culture and getting them ready to contribute to Toledo Liberty champioships as soon as they are able. Making it to Phoenix would be pretty cool too, I guess."
"Isekenmeir is reportedly one of the very few players to actually record games at each of the levels in the Talons system, from Rookie League to the bigs," a Talons front office source said. "We're glad to have him aboard, especially sonce he's a lot cheaper than going out and signing an actual coach."
