2057-53: Talons David Frum Apologizes for Breaking Promise

Astute readers of Talons Team Newses will recall a certain Talons article, published on Christmas Eve in response to a wonderful gift of a piece published to mark the occasion. Having seen that, TEMAFPD Director David Frum all but conceded any chance at a Caleca Team News award this year, and vowed to only report the basics for the rest of the season.

It worked, for the most part. Team Newses were short and sweet, contained the minimum two paragraphs and even had player links and stats and stuff. Articles 2057-29 thru 2057-45 fit this new template, and all was going fine. But slowly, the articles started to become more and more creative, what with new lawsuits to report on and LinkedIn campaigns to keep track of. Director Frum issues a statement today regarding this issue:

"On behalf of the Talons Electronic Media And Forum Posting Department, Central Arizona Concessions LLC, and Our Partners Denny's, Subaru, and VODAK, I would like to express regret regarding the content of our posts lately. We promised to no longer be overly creative with these things and we dropped the ball. Going forward and for the rest of the season, we commit to only the basics in the Team News arena, even in articles about Your Mom (obligatory link). No creativity for us! Take our word for it!"
