Recently, the Phoenix Sun Times Post DispatchTM revealed insider information suggesting that the Talons Reclusive GMTM was desperately trying to make friends on the ancient social media and professional development site LinkedInTM.
New information has revealed the veracity of these claims, however the results have been decidedly mixed so far. No doubt due to the polarizing nature of the GM's style, it's not surprising that most of his peers have spurned the offer. Indeed, reports are that only two BBA GM's were receptive to the initial entreaty. And that's great for those that actually want to see what sort of Local Neighborhood Iron SmelterTM the Reclusive GM works at for a day job. Beats selling SubarusTM, amirite?
In any case, we can be sure that the requests actually reached a fair number of BBATM GM's, because the site actually reports who looks at the profile of the requestor. In fact, a hacked image from the TalonsTM LinkedInTM page reveals that at least one GM took a look and said, "nah".
But the Reclusive GMTM received good news recently. Apparently, all it takes is a quick trade for Lee Stone to encourage a connection, however tenuous:
The Reclusive GMTM was overjoyed at this notification, especially since it only cost $1 and half the salary of a part time DH. So pleased, in fact, that leaked documents show the Talons GM logging into the site the very next day and perusing the profile of his newest friend. Among the many features of the LinkedIn site are something called EndorsementsTM, where a connection can vouch for the recipient's proclivities in a certain skill. So naturally, the Talons GM immediately clicked on this:

When asked why, the Reclusive GM said this: "Naturally, someone so adept at inventing fake teams, fake stadiums, and fake teleporters, and then proceeding to write hundreds of Team News articles about them must be very talented in the realm of fiction."
