2055-19: Talons Fans Ask: Won't The Real Aarnoud Budding Please Opt Out, Please Opt Out, Please Opt Out?

Phoenix, AZ--
As many Talons fans know by now, Your Mom has taken the Greater Central Arizona Area by storm. And it's all thanks to one man.
Three-time Puckett Award winning first baseman Aarnoud Budding.
Budding was having his best season since 2046 when an unfortunate injury sidelined the 6'4" Dutchman for a month in late July. Upon his relegation to the injured list, the Talons were faced with a choice: continue with Budding's platoon-mate, mild mannered Canadian Kent Landry, or unleash Mother Mania upon Talons fans forevermore. Incidentally, there was actually some deliberation on the part of Talons executives, particularly about the competition down in Single A now that age limits were established. After all, even 40 POT scrub Winston Carreon was hitting .370, for chrissakes. How good could Your Mom be?
Welp, as well all found out, Your Mom is good. So, so good. Despite being virtually unknown outside of the Phoenix Metropolitan area, Joe Mother has given Talons fans something to cheer about. There's just one little problem... Aarnoud Budding is still under contract until 2058. But there is a bit of a silver lining. Since Budding's return, he has continued his great play, even notching a three homer game just last week. Now, there will obviously be the inevitable article about pending opt outs (surely our resident GM/Author will take care of that), but Talons fans are pretty much banking on Budding taking his 4+ WAR season and betting he can do better than $8.6 million per.
At least we can hope!
