2053-0001: Talons GM Once Again Draws Ire of BBA Governing Board and Suffers Opressive Persecution! (Again!)

Phoenix, AZ--
What's a little gamesmanship among friends?
Apparently, a little is too much, especially when you don't have any friends.
It all started when an astute GM studiously perused the Rule V pool and discovered that a member of the World Famous Toledo Liberty TM was listed at the wrong position in the Rule V draft pool. The GM did his due diligence, and actually serached through the pool using various categories, instead of just Overall ratings. Said GM found said member of the Liberty, and called out the Talons, to which the Talons Reclusive GM offered his congratulations and invited him to search for more such players.
Fine, right? Not so much.
Soon, others chimed in and mentioned that the practice of trying to slip guys through Rule V (or waivers, natch) is not exactly on the up and up. Then, a representative of the BBA Governing Board casually mentioned that a rule would have to be made to prevent such an occurrence; a suggestion which the Talons reclusive GM once again welcomed. These exchanges earned a public rebuke from the Commish, which inspired the Talons to write this, their first Team News of the season.
Only 5 more TN till we reach the minimum! Yay!!
Go Talons!
