Phoenix, AZ--
The Talons have been called out about their annual complaints regarding payment of the annual League Fee, even though they haven't complained yet.
Today, that changed.
The Talons once again had a press conference, calling out the BBA, and its Commissioner regarding the "sim engine" that all clubs are required to update every calendar year. "Must be nice having a captive audience of league GMs as a built in revenue source for the multinational conglomerate that is Out of the Park Developments GmbH & Co.KG," remarked the Talons Reclusive GM. "Yep, I just love sending my hard earned cash all the way to GAMEVIL COM2US Europe GmbH, Torstraße 33-35, 10119 Berlin, Germany every time they feel like charging us again. Really glad to be helping the world economy," he continued. 'Including helping out a certain commish, who probably gets a healthy kickback on each sale."
He went on. "But not this year! Thanks to the dark web and a Tor browser, the Talons have managed to secure a pirated license for this so-called 'OOTP23' at a vastly discounted price, i.e. free. It's our way of subverting the system! So don't worry Phoenix fans, you'll be able to see quality internet baseball once again, especially in Single A, only this time without all that crushing overhead. We might even be able to lower ticket prices!"
In a related story, the Talons announced that their world famous $3.01 Sushi, beloved at concession stands throughout the park, will now be reduced in price back to the original $3.00, since the club no longer has to pay the crippling "Markus Tax". Huzzah!!
