Phoenix, AZ--

Word on the street is that former Talons first round pick Thad Meyer was a little dismayed that he wasn't selected to be in the inaugural class of the Talons Hall of Low Standards last month. "I was wondering if they were going to call. They probably just forgot, knowing them," Meyer said. "I don't hold it against them. Besides, I heard they need another coach next season so I decided to fill out the application on indeed.com and well, here we are."

Meyer was the Talons first round pick in 2033 and had a 12 year BBA career, 11 of which were with the Talons, where he amassed 24.0 WAR and won two Pucketts, two ZImmers, and was selected to the JL all star team twice. The Talons GM said this regarding Meyer: "Oh yeah we want him in the Hall, of course. But we only get points for inductions once per season, no matter how many players get in. So we'll induct him next season so we can get two points for it. In the meantime, He can be our Bench Coach. I mean, those guys don't really do anything, do they?"

GO Talons!
