Astute Talons fans and followers of the Talons Electronic Media and Forum Posting Department will remember that late last season, the Talons attempted to join a Skype call with a few other BBA GM's but were unsuccessful.
Welp, fast forward to 2048 and lo and behold, the Talons had figured out the microphone settings on their Windows 98 laptop and were actually delighted to discover that there was another GM chat they could join. Eventually, the settings worked, and the Talons knew they were live when they did an audio test and the whole chatroom laughed at them. YAY! We're in!
The Talons listened intently as the participants discussed such various things as a Wisconsin Dells vacation, Conan O'Brien skits, Traffic on the I-5, Spreadsheets of various kinds, and the developmental curve of Long Beach prospect Ski Melillo. But excitement turned to dismay when the Talons realized that no one wanted to talk about the Talons.
Yeah, the Talons, the team that just got a 95 win prediction from OOTP and recently added players such as RF Donald Miller and the #4 Starter Who Shall Not Be Named. And the team that has like the best bullpen in the league.
But did the chat want to talk about the Talons? Nope. The Talons didn't know what to do. I mean, the Talons aren't real good in meetings and do not play well with others. I guess if the Talons want to hear someone talk about the Talons, then the Talons should have a podcast about the Talons. Then the Talons will get talked about then!
In the meantime, the Talons will entertain themselves by dropping a TN during the chat and seeing how long it takes for the participants to notice.
