The Talons Reclusive GM, due to start his shift at the local iron ore processing facility in less than 90 minutes, decided to check the Stats Plus "Export Tracker" in order to make sure that the Talons have a valid export on file for tonight's "sim" of the BBA, an online fake baseball league.
The GM has been associated with various online leagues of one form or another for nearly 25 real life "years", encompassing many dozens of fake seasons, all existing inside of the Commissioner's computer. And, despite winning one, and only one, championship in all of those seasons (The 2023 GBC Stapleton Cup, no less), the GM continues to plod away at mediocrity, refusing to embrace modern statistical analysis in order to better compete with his fellow GMs, whom he has called "nerds".
Still, the GM seems to care, at least a little. He cares enough to take 10 minutes out of his day, before work, no less, to check the Export Tracker, see that it was good, and bang out a quick Team News about it. What dedication, What courage, What sacrifice.
