The Talons have this friend, you see, and he runs a fake baseball team. This friend, well, he had a pitcher who got hurt. So this friend decided to look for a veteran arm to sign in last winter's free agent market. The friend offered a one year, 10 million dollar deal, which the veteran pitcher accepted.

Well, now, you see, the friend has a question to ask all of the nerd GMs in the BBA (there are 31 of them) about some trade rule details. The Talons, being good friends with this friend, have decided to ask the league the following question on their friend's behalf. You know, for a friend.

The friendly Talons have heretofore issued this query to the league: "Well, we have this friend, you know. And they run a baseball team. Well, they have this guy that they signed in the FA market, and he's been doing kind of good. Our friend's pitcher is 7-1 with a 2.42 ERA and 1.8 WAR in 52 innings over eight starts. The friend has heard about some rules regarding trades involving free agents signed the previous winter, and he wasn't quite sure about those rules, because he doesn't pay that much attention to the league he is in."

"So we decided to ask this league, full of friendly GM's, if they could tell our friend how soon he could trade his pitcher. Is it June 1st? July 1st? Who knows? We don't. So we, the Talons, decided to ask. For a friend."
