The circumstances behind the injury woes of Talons SP Don Smith continue to get worse.
As everyone knows, and is tired of hearing about, the young left hander has had shoulder problems since last July, with setbacks that will have him out until the All Star break this season. But revelations have just come to light that show the Talons, through their Forum Posting And Electronic Media Department, predicted such an injury nearly two seasons ago, when Smith was with Des Moines.
Some may recall an infamous 2042 Team News in which Phoenix decided to call out every BBA GM (by "@"-ing them) in order to generate additional comments, likes, and views for that article. And while the scheme worked, in terms of increasing interaction through the post, one particular aspect was eerily prescient. And no, it wasn't the offer of a $900 used car from the Commish.
