2043-00006: Talons Take Advantage of Amazing Buy One Get One Free Sale on IFA Corner Outfielders

Phoenix, AZ--
After being shut out of any major free agent signings (as is usually the case because the GM is afraid to spend long term money because LaLoosh), the Talons suddenly had a bunch of cash to burn. Watching the IFA market explode with numerous multi-million dollar signing bonuses, the Talons realized this latest crop would need a dump truck full of cash to sign.
With most of the good players gone, Phoenix resolved to buy the last remaining 80-rated prospect no matter the cost. $15 million later, LF Rajeshkumar Simha was a Talon, reporting to the International Complex in Vega Baja, PR. At his signing, Simha mentioned how much he liked the organization and facilities, and told team officials that he knew a friend in Canada that would love to play here.
Sure, whatever, the Talons thought. If this guy wants his buddy to tag along, we won't mind. The club asked his name, and signed Simha's friend Eddie MacEachern to a no-bonus minor league contract a couple weeks later. But boy, were the Talons surprised when Eddie showed up to camp. Scouts rate him as a 75 potential right fielder!
And though 16 year old IFAs are notorious for not reaching their potentials, the Talons can't complain about this buy one get one free special. Add these two guys to the top ten pick the Talons are due to make in June, and it looks like there will be a trio of All Stars in about 4 to 5 years. Cool!
