Phoenix, AZ--
The Talons were pleased to learn that all of their hard work this offseason has paid off, in the form of one quarter of a participation point for completing a single successful export. Now that the club is that much closer to its goal of doing as little as possible, its time to ask: is there anything good about this team?
According to a recent unsolicited team preview posted earlier, the Talons do have an offense. What's more interesting, is that the same article praising the Talons lineup didn't even mention two of their best players, 3B Pankratz Isekenmier and 1B Juan Mateo. So the bats won't be a problem, except maybe at second base. And probably center field. Oh, and shortstop too. OK, maybe the offense isn't so good after all.
As for the pitching, well the Talons do have some pretty good relievers. So, they thought, what if every pitcher was a reliever? And, so far, thats exactly what has happened. The Phoenix pitching staff is currently comprised of 13 relievers, with a number of them designated as "Openers". Will it work? who knows. But with the state of starting pitching in the BBA, it's worth a try. Maybe.
In other news, the Talons Farm System is ranked #2 in the League, but that's good enough for another article (and two more points). Maybe in a month or so. Or two.
Go Talons!

So, wait. This means the Phoenix Talons logged into the BBA forums at least twice in this fiscal quarter - once to read the unsolicited preview of the Phoenix Talons, and then to post an unsolicited TN about the Phoenix Talons. This suggests a disturbing new level of fanaticism on the part of the Phoenix Talons, which the Chicago Black Sox cannot endorse. The Chicago Black Sox can, however, endorse the Phoenix Talons assembling a roster with no starting pitchers, and suggest that the Phoenix Talons also try assembling a roster with no starting lineup. The Chicago Black Sox are confident this would curb any desire on the part of the Phoenix Talons to log into the forums for an unprecedented third time this quarter.
You're welcome.

Hey, wait a minute ... in order to point out that a new fiscal quarter starts tomorrow, the Phoenix Talons must have logged into the BBA forums at least once more today. Three times in this quarter. The Chicago Black Sox are scandalized and at least somewhat concerned about their math. But be that as it may, the Chicago Black Sox wish it to be known that the Phoenix Talons are veering uncomfortably close to actual league participation. With or without starting pitchers.
