2041-02: Talons Intentionally Miss Three Sims in a Row in Order to See if BBA Would Notice (Spoiler Alert: They Didn't)

Phoenix, AZ--
"I mean it's not like anyone got hurt and had to go on the DL or anything," Marko said. "So we just left the team on autopilot. Nothing I can do will make them play any better anyway."
That was the explaination offered to the Phoenix Sun Times Post Dispatch when the esteemed daily publication ("One of Phoenix's Best Newspapers") confronted the aloof Talons GM. The club, which operates in a fake internet baseball league, had apparently not submitted an "export" to the BBA League Offices in nearly a month.
"Didn't seem to affect anything, really," Marko continued. "We were kind of hoping that someone would check up on us or something. But after a couple of weeks we didn't even care about that anymore. It was only when someone sent us a trade inquiry that we could even be bothered to download the latest file and have a look around. And, lo and behold, the team was just as mediocre as we had left it."
But that wasn't the only thing the club has been lax about lately. "Yeah, it's true, this is only our second Team News of the season," said the GM. "And again, we were kind of hoping that we would get called out for the lack of News as well. I was looking forward to the All Star Break update from the gatekeeper of PPT Ron Collins, but even then, no one noticed."
"Oh yeah, that reminds me, I didn't vote for the All Stars either. Oh well."
