2040-05: The Talons Woke Up This Morning And Found Some Players Missing, Then They Remembered About The Expansion Draft

Phoenix, AZ--
The Talons, fresh of a night off wine, women, and song at the local Denny's restaurant, woke up this morning, eventually. They then fired up their pirated copy of OOTP20 on their trusty Windows 7 PC and loaded up the Brewster. Upon poking through the various menus and screens, they discovered that some of their players were missing.
Where did they go? The Talons didn't have a clue. The club opened up the transactions menu and there, staring them in the face was the answer. The expansion draft.
The franshise had forgotten all about it! Hoping that no one good was taken, the Talons nervously clicked on the three names. With a sigh of relief, they found that the damage was minimal. All that was lost were a couple of pitchers with 3 movement and some guy they had never heard of. SP Jafar Hamid and Vicente Venalde were both examples of those free international guys that were handed out like candy a few years back, and both feature a "3" potential movement rating, which according to Talons doctrine disqualifies them from ever throwing a pitch for the major league club.
The other guy (the Talons still can't recall his name; must be the hangover) was apparently the 3rd string catcher, as far as the club can ascertain.
Anyway, time for some greasy breakfast food. Go Talons!
