Mas-ud bin Salah al Din is a 5'11" 170lb third baseman from Savadkuh, Iran. Salah al Din was acquired by the Talons in a free agency deal out of the GBC, in a 6 year, $46 million deal. He spent two seasons in the minor leagues before notching his first full season in 2061. This past year, al Din hit .287 with 43 home runs and 126 RBI.
Talons scouting director Schytt E. Pyck had this to say: "We took a big risk on this kid, and gave him a ton of money out of the GBC minor leagues. The last two seasons has 13.5 WAR combined, so his career is off to a great start. He can also play a pretty fair corner outfield, but we already have a ton of those."
