Two Season ago, Twin Cities took a chance on Nelson in Round 2 of the Rule 5 draft. After getting roughed in 2046 (5W-7L 5.63 ERA), Hoskins improved and appeared to turn a corner in 2047.

After a quick start, posting 3.86 ERA with 1.27 WHIP in 13 games, Nelson was lost for the season after fracturing his elbow. The good news is there was no permanent damage and it appears that Nelson was able to improve even further during his time off.

WIth the team not looking to compete in 2048, the TWC Front Office handled Hoskins with kid gloves to start the season, putting him on a limited pitch count in a few games at AAA.

Nelson wasn't happy and kept insisting he was ready to go. The front office moved him up to the BBA and he's backed up his talk.

At 25 years old and the team being 3+ seasons from rebounding, Nelson could be a prime piece to move for future players. He'll offer several seasons of team control.

A hard throwing left hander with three elite pitches and an amazing pick off move.. Not sure what else a contending team wouldn't like.
