Francisco was the one of the two key acquisitions of the Twin Cities Fire Sale almost 7 years ago... That saw the team trade then Ace Chris Kelly to Jacksonville.
Chris Kelly went on to help Jacksonville win the Landis that season...
Francisco has been nothing but a stud since he came up in 2041. He's just an all around great player who can do anything... He's earned Gold Gloves, Gold Bats and even a Geoghegan MVP last season.
However, with Twin Cities upcoming salary issues, Francisco will be the first and likely most prominent casualties of the incoming, inevitable decline for the River Monsters. With his contract expiring, the 26 year old will be looking a huge pay day... possibly reaching $20+ Mil per season.
Disgruntled fans will sure to be wondering why the team has so much money tied up in Chip Puckett and Ronnie Hubbard... Allowing Arredondo to walk...
