42.05 TWC - Starting Pitchers, Jose Perez & Liam Thorpe, looking to return soon after Minor's Rehab

It's been an anxious off season for Twin Cities' Fans and the Front Office, following the recovery period of two their top Starting Pitching prospects after they both were hit with season ending surgeries during the 2041 season.

Jose Perez

Jose Perez was having a fantastic Rookie season when he tore his rotator cuff in September. He started his minor league rehab last week and was shaky in his first outing. Put on a strict pitch count, he only went 3 1/3 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 walks. However, he was a little sharper in his second start, giving up 1 run over 4 innings. It looks like he'll spend another week at Duluth before making his 2042 BBA debut.

From all indications, it looks like Jose Perez made through his recovery without any impact his stuff, movement or control.. which is fantastic news for Jose and the Team.

However, there's mixed reports coming out on Liam Thorpe. There's been some concerning indications that Thorpe has lost some of his stuff and control after returning from surgery on his elbow in early July. However, the coaches seem to think the impact may not be as extensive as thought earlier in the year.

Either way, it does seem that Thorpe won't be the same pitcher he was prior to going on the injured list. He'll be throwing his first Rehab start this week and will spend at least a couple weeks working things out... possible longer if he struggles in the Minors.

Fans will be waiting will baited breath..
