9 Games - .424 BA / 1.274 OPS / 3 2B / 3 HR's / 9 Runs / .7 WAR

Joe Bradshaw was called up 2 weeks ago when veteran Catcher, Jorge Rios, went out for 2 months with a herniated disc. Joe is now paired with the other rookie catcher, Parker Davenport, on the active roster. While Parker has played well defensively, his bat hasn't quite been at the BBA level.

One the other hand, Joe Bradshaw has been on fire at the plate in his short time in the Big Show. He's been on base in all 9 games and has 7 multi-hit games so far. While he's projected to be adequate defensively behind the plate, he's still a bit a liability in that department. The Front Office had hoped to give a little more time in the Minors to development those skills.

For the time being, the two rookies will platoon the position with Parker substituting defensively in closer games. Fans know that Bradshaw's hot start will fade soon, but just enjoy the ride until that time.
