LF Ray Cooper
Career Stats - 12 Years - .277 BA / .846 OPS / 300 HR's / 1011 RBI's / 35.9 WAR

Ray Cooper has crossed two milestones this season, bringing his 1000th RBI earlier in May and now has just hit his 300th BBA Home Run. Ray is one of two original River Monsters left from Twin Cities' first season in 2028. However, he's wasn't originally drafted by the Front Office, either in the Expansion or Rookie Draft. Cooper was drafted the previous season (2037) by the Seattle Storm and was traded to the River Monsters in 2038.

His peak production was early in 2030's when he put up a 7.0 WAR with a .300+ BA, 36 home runs and .953 OPS, Powering Twin Cities to the team's first Post Season appearance. Cooper has been an extremely consistent presence for the River Monsters in Left Field, though it looked he might be fading in his late 20's after the Twin Cities signed him to a long term extension worth approximately $13 Million per season. One of several questionable contract extensions by the Front Office. However, Cooper did rebound in 2040 with a decent 2.2 WAR and 32 Home Runs.

Born to be a River Monster, Ray Cooper is from Mitchell, SD... only 3 hours away from the Twin Cities. He has a one year left his current contract, so it'll be interesting to see if Cooper hangs around to be a roll player for Twin Cities in his mid-30's... or will his contract demands force the Front Office to let him find other pastures. He's still extremely popular with TWC fans...

Cool to see the guys who stay with one team for so long. I’m sure he’ll gladly play as long as possible in the twin cities so he doesn’t have to return to the kingdom.

Life is a bit more beautiful when time is measured by the half inning rather than the half hour.
