41.02 TWC - Rookie Francisco Arredondo stumbles out of the gate... or limps...

Spring Training Stats - .281 BA / 3 HR's / 7 RBI

After a hot start in Spring Training, Francisco had cooled a bit coming into a game against San Fernando. In the 1st Inning, Arredondo belted a double off Sergie Hopkins, but rolled his ankle sliding into 2nd Base.

Team doctors are predicting Francisco to be out 2-3 weeks, so he'll definitely miss the rest of spring training and possibly Opening week of the season.

Twin Cities has been embarrissingly bad at second base since the demise of "Gorilla" Man a few seasons ago. The team is extremely excited that Arredondo will provide top offensive production and solid defense at the position for years to come. Still an unknown to fans of the league, the front office is hoping 2041 will be provide a platform to show the league what Francisco can provide.

I'm hoping the Gorilla Man still has some punch left in him...

Life is a bit more beautiful when time is measured by the half inning rather than the half hour.

I tried to resign him... he made a little comeback and can play adequate center field in a pinch and is still a quality defensive infielder.
