2040.07 TWC - Prospect Jose Cordero ready for 2041

AAA Stats - 142 Games / .351 BA / 1.179 OPS / 53 HR's

With the River Monsters Front Office ready to start turning things around in the Twin Cities, one of the first young prospects looking to emerge from the Minors, Jose Cordero looks ready to make a difference in 2041.

Most of the Top young talent in the Twin Cities minor league system are pitchers (Cordero is the #7 TWC prospect, the top 6 are pitchers), while the top position player prospects could be classified as above average to solid. Jose Cordero is far and away the best pure hitter in the TWC minors, though he's lacking on defense and the base paths.

Cordero was likely ready to play in the BBA this season, but the team elected to keep him back. He won the GL Batter of the Month three times and lead the league in most major offensive categories.

It's about time to give River Monster fans something to be excited about...

53 bombs! Even more impressive when you consider his home park surpasses HR.

Life is a bit more beautiful when time is measured by the half inning rather than the half hour.

Ted would have blown his top seeing this guy rot in the minors this year.

His track record says he probably had to start in the minors. Could probably at least been a Sept. call-up, though.

Oh I'm not knocking the decision. If everyone else does it you basically have to.

Ah, crap. As the Crusader GM, does this now fall on me? I was never told this.

Ok... here goes:

I loathe immensely the keeping of Cordero in AAA for the 2040 season.

Hmm... that doesn't feel right from me... never doing that again.

Lol... Yeah, I thought about bringing him up this season, but what was the point?

If the team had a chance at being competitive, it would have been a no brainer
