Who cares what you've done... what have you done LATELY???

GM Scott Piccoli
EXP: 11 Seasons
BBA Career Record 719-648
PlayOff Appearances: 5

Throw all that out the window. Owner Robin Wells has been on the edge of his seat all off season... and hasn't been afraid to let GM Scott Piccoli about it and he's not happy.

2038 was a rough season for Twin Cities. Team Captain, Xue-Qin Man hit a horrific slump and Mark Wareham was lost for the season after a collision while base running (AGAIN?)... And just like that, then middle Infield, which had been as solid a 1-2 position in the BBA for several seasons was suddenly gone.

In the end, there was some glimmer of hope for a Wild Card spot, but the River Monsters faded in September, instead of surging as fans had seen for several seasons previously. And there was more gloom looming in the Off Season. After Catcher San Duk Sim won a major pay increase in Arbitration, the Twin Cities Front Office had a major Pay Roll issue... mostly due to GM Scott Piccoli trying to keep everyone in the past. Not learning the lesson that sometimes players need to move one.

The Front Office made the decision to release Chris Limon, while still a possible productive player, was an anchor on the Pay Roll at $16 Million per season. However, just because that money was off the Salary Cap, it still had to be paid and there were holes left to fill.

So GM Piccoli made the decision to visit Owner Robin Wells and, well... ask for more money. While reluctant, Robin Wells relented, trusting in his GM.

This allowed the Team to sign Free Agent, OF Victor Guerra, to a two year deal, worth around $6 Million. With the inflated first year and reduced second year including a player option, it appears it's a One Year Deal unless Guerra completely bombs out.

Looking forward, the Offense and Bull Pen looks to be fairly solid, however there's big questions on the backside of the starting rotation. There's a few possible unproven minor leagues who might fill that need, but for now it's an issue.

Check back in July to see if Owner Robin Wells will require therapy and if GM Piccoli will be looking for a new city to call home.

Kinda of a pivotal period for TWC, I think. But there's a lot to work with.
