2037.03 TWC - Limon's slow start raising concerns

Chris Limon
Week 1 - 2 for 19, .105 BA

Worried Fans are already murmuring about Limon's opening week. After watching Chris struggle through most of 2036 batting at or below .200, a slow start is NOT what the Front Office or the Fans were hoping to see.

Spring training was promising, with Limon hitting .296 and a .900+ OPS. However, the slow start has already frustrated Limon, as it's apparent he's extremely unhappy with his performance.

There's rumors already in the air that the Manager Juan Williams isn't planning on giving Limon too much time to work out his issues. With youngster Joey Newhouse already tearing up the ball, Limon might be looking at a platoon situation in a couple of weeks if he can't put it together.

It'll be devastating blow to the River Monster's playoff hopes if Limon can't find his old form. He's been a fan favorite and cornerstone for the team for several seasons and it doesn't appear that's he's lost anything physically.

At this time, it's appears to be all mental... Which can be far more devastating than losing a step or some power on a swing.

Now granted, it's WAY too early to make any snap judgements on Chris Limon's 2037 expectations... But let's just say everyone concerned is hypersensitive after Limon's abysmal 2036 season.

I was definitely assuming Limon's 2036 was a fluke. If it wasn't that's a shame. One of the backbones of a young franchise.

Wow, that is quite the strange career. From a .425 OBP to a .314 in only 3 years while he's in his 20s. Hope he bounces back for you this season!

One of my Munchen Brauers products. Could the low work ethic be dragging him down?
