2036.22 TWC - Hunter "Boogie" Eisenhower Hangs em Up

Hunter "Boogie Eisenhower
Age 38
18 Seasons
Career Totals
HR's - 402
RBI's - 1,340
Hits - 2,450
BA - .275
OPS - .835
Total War - 75.2
JAWS - 60.8

6 All Star Appearances
7 Charles Pucket Gold Bats
1 Landis Championships

The 2036 Season was a tough year for Hunter Eisenhower. Just a season removed from a .812 OPS in 2035, Hunter found he couldn't put it together at the plate and found himself overmatched at the plated for the first time in his career. He ended the year with a negative WAR, a first for the multiple time All-Star hitter.

Therefore, instead of coming back to Twin Cities in 2037 as a shell of his former self, Hunter announced he was hanging up his cleats.

Twin Cities Scott Piccoli commented

"The whole organization was honored have Boogie spend his last few seasons of his great baseball career in Twin Cities. He provided a boost and leadership to help the River Monsters reach the Playoffs for the first time. He's such a popular personality in the Clubhouse and provides leadership, that we've approached Hunter with a opportunity to Manage in the Twin Cities organization. He was practically our Bench Coach as it was this year anyway. He's a natural and baseball is his life."

Hunter spent productive season in Las Vegas, Huntsville and California... Though California might have liked to have remodeled their stadium while he was still there as he struggled in his last season there.

Hunter's best stretch was probably 2026-2028 when he put up a 21.4 WAR and averaged .910 OPS over that time and helped Huntsville win a Landis Championship.

Great player, and I'm super glad he bounced back for you (up until this past season anyway).
