2036.15 TWC Chris Limon on pace for worst Career Season

.207 BA, .321 OBP, .713 OPS, 19 HR's, 30 SB

Chris Limon has been a staple of the Twin Cities offense for nearly 7 sevens, averaging around 30 HR's and 60-70 SB per season. The Three Hole had been his home in the lineup pretty much since 2030.

However, in 2036, Limon has been slumping across the board, On Base %, HR's Stolen Bases... etc. Necessitating moving down out of the 3 spot, lower in the lineup. Limon has been visibly frustrated, mostly with his own performance and it's impact on the struggling River Monsters.

Cut from the same template as Mark Wareham, Limon has never been a high average guy, However his good OBP and solid power numbers consistently put his OPS in the .800 - .900 range. His consistent high level play have earned Chris 3 Golden Bats at Third Base and an 2034 All Star Appearance. In 2033, Limon put up a nice .425 OPB and .997 OPS while helping lead the team to their first Playoff Appearance.

The Twin Cities Front Office is chalking up 2036 as an off season for Limon and are optimistic about a return to his usual form in 2037. However, some fans are concerned that this season might be early warnings of the eventual decline for the 30 Year Old Third Baseman. His elite running speed has dipped a little in the last year, but otherwise he seems to be the same guy as ever.

Limon's contract is guaranteed through 2039, with 2040 having both a player option and team option available.

Sometimes it just happens.

Aaron Stone had that kind of second season. Frustrating, but what can you do?

He'll bounce back. I always root for my former Brauers.

Same thing happened to Bartolo Ortiz last season.

First thing I'd do is check and see if the Genius had been in town last off season.
