Johnny Harris was cruising in the 4th Inning against the San Pedro Green Sox, when he felt something give in his elbow. He had been feeling a nagging pain in the location for awhile and he been trying to work through it. However, his heart sank when he was giving the diagnosis... Torn UCL. Johnny is currently schedule for Tommy John surgery this week and looking at approximately 13 months recovery time.
"Yeah, I know it's a fairly common procedure these days and some pitchers even claim to feel stronger after surgery, but it's still a little scary to be going under the knife," commented Johnny Harris on the upcoming surgery.
The Twin Cities front office is optimistic about Johnny Harris's recovery and will be looking forward to his return sometime in the 2037 season.
