Stelio Kontos
In order to bounce back, sometimes you have to hit bottom... Unfortunately for Former All Star Stelio Kontos, he's still falling.
At his peak with Halifax in 2031, Kontos put up a 4.8 WAR season at First Base, averaging over 30 HR's per season for 5 seasons.
The warning signs started going up in 2033 after he was signed to an extension by Halifax (5 Years - $59 Mil) the previous season, only to be released by Omaha after being traded.
Twin Cities took a gamble in Kontos in 2034, signing him at $3.4 Mil per years for 5 seasons. Kontos tanked immediately and was sent to AAA to see if he could work his issues out. He was still scouted as a Solid Batter (7 CON 8 POW 6 EYE) but his performance didn't reflect on that.
Shortly after being demoted, Kontos was busted for PED's... So now it was out. Were all those seasons a sham? Was he juiced the whole time?
Since that time, it's been rough sledding for Kontos. He's bounced around the minors, hoping regain the magic and more importantly.. Respect.
However, the erosion of his skills has been rapid and complete. And with a Team Option coming up at the end of the Season, he'll be soon unemployed. However, the TWC Front Office is keeping on the books due to the $7.5 Million they would owe him if he's released early.

And through 8 games, Stelios is struggling to hit .700+ OPS at AA. It's got to be an shameful exit from the BBA for a guy once rate the #14 Prospect in Baseball and who seemed to be a rising star instead of burning out like a small meteor.
