2035.29 TWC - Owner Robin Wells unveils rebranded Logo and Uniforms for 2036 Season
"It just seemed we needed to add a little something to pay homage to our home town, the Twin Cities of Minneapolis–Saint Paul. We threw around a few ideas and this really just stuck with us," commented Owner Robin Wells on today's unveiling.
And with that, he revealed the new uniforms and rebranded team logo for the upcoming 2036 season.
"Personally, I'm very partial to white jerseys for Home Games. Call it tradition I guess. The dark uni's should be for away games. And while I'm thinking about it, shouldn't Twin Cities be the Lake Monsters instead of River Monsters? I mean, Minnesota is home of 10,000 lakes and famous for giant Lake Sturgeon? Just saying... Anyway River Monster's has really grown on me since I came to team a few years, so I don't worry about that anymore and just roll with it.
After 5 plus seasons with the original expansion logo's/uniforms, it was time for a little updating.
*** NOTE ***
Jersey/Hat Files - Just wanted to get these out there early in case I screwed something up and need to redo them. Let me know when you get a chance. I realize it's not high on the priority list. I submit a PP post later in the offseason.

Looks good but isn’t that the old logo being used as a sleeve patch?

Yeah... I didn't take it off since you can't see it anywhere in game or online. Maybe I'm mistaken though. I suppose I could still change it.

Nice!
To give some credit to the name, the great Mississippi River originates around the twin cities. So it's not completely out of place.

Nice.
But why the W in with the logo? Why not just TC for Twin Cities.

The Abbrevaition in game is TWC and I’ve gotten so used to it that when I tried creating the logo with just TC, it just looked wrong to me.
However, I still almost with the TC anyway... lol.
But I really like how the TwC turned out.
