The bright spot for a tough Twin Cities weeks was Hunter Eisenhower smashing his career 400th home run against Calgary in a losing effort.

In a season where it seemed Father Time was exacting his toll on Boogie before everyone's eyes, there was concern Hunter might not be able to reach this milestone this season. With a Team Option coming up and his apparently fading skills, there's a chance he might not have made it all if he did't break 400 homeruns during this season. With Hunter turning 38 in the off season, it's not certain the Boogie returns for 2036.

After a hot April, Hunter's performance was declining each month, culminating with a .182 Batting Average in August and a miserable .584 OPS. There was speculation that Hunter might have to be benched with the return of Albert Ganoa from the Disabled List this week.

However, Hunter found a spark to start off September and is coming to life when the team desperately needs him to... Batting .313 through 15 games with 5 doubles and 2 homeruns, including his 400th home run.

"While Hunter does seem to be slowing down and has lost some bat speed, there's nothing wrong with his excellent eye and je still makes great contact when he puts the bat on the ball. It's been honor to see him reach such a lofty milestone and joy to work with him over the last two seasons. He's a great leader in the clubhouse" Commented Manager Juan Williams.

Hunter's peak years were spent in Las Vegas and Huntsville, where he won multiple Golden Bats playing Third Base. He was an integral member of the Huntsville Phantoms team that won the 2028 Landis Memorial Series.

We're happy for him. Now he can go back to fading, thank you very much.
