Charm City 2055.4 - It's A Deal

The Charm City Jimmies and Long Beach Surfers announced a deal on 7/28 that would see the Jimmies acquire SP: Hotha Buyoya in exchange for minor league outfielder OF: Jim Coleman. Buyoya is expected to start his first game in a Jimmie uniform as he is penciled in to start the August 4th matchup against Atlantic City. Buyoya, a 2054 All Star, is seeing his first extensive work as a starting pitcher in 2055 having started 8 games with Long Beach. In those 8 games he's compiled a 0-2 record with a 3.86 ERA in 25.2 innings striking out 16 with a 115 ERA+. Losing their slot in the rotation was Richard Bullock who struggled with consistency this year. We're hoping Buyoya will shore up the back end of the starting rotation as both Bullock and Allen Davidson have struggled to put up consistent outings this year. We may be in the market for another starting pitcher we shall see what happens as Davidson has seemed to correct some issues over his last 4 outings.
