Streaking:
Since June 1 the Jimmies have had a 68-20 record which comes out to a .772 winning percentage. I've been playing OOTP games since about 2004 and that is the most impressive streak that I've had on a team. The streak actually saved a job. With the struggles we faced in the first two months the Jimmies were considering cutting ties with hitting coach Frank Bud. We were another 3-3 sim from letting Bud go.
Welcome to the Show:
With the September roster expansion we have promoted 2 players to the majors for the first time in their pro careers. MR: Fernando Camacho and 3B: Jules Le Gal. Le Gal is the #51 prospect in the BBA and our 2nd round pick from 2051. Le Gal in AAA Anapolis posted a stat line of .266/.366/.449/.815 slash line. I'm excited to see what he can do during the final month and possibly the playoffs. Camacho was an undrafted free agent and was signed to a minor league deal back in 2045. In 25.1 innings this year Camacho had a 3.91 ERA with a 1.58 WHIP. He's a guy I think has under performed, but I'm curious as to what he'll be able to do.
Clinched:
Your Jimmies were the first team to clinch a playoff spot on 9/7. We currently have a magic number to clinch the division of 6 games.
