The Charm City Jimmies announced a series of changes to the coaching staff at the start this off season. The team hired Dave B to be the new GM. Dave comes over the the former UMEBA league having compiled a 455-323 record. He won the 2046 and 2047 championships with the Mumbai Metro Stars and most recently the 2050 championship with the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers. Following Dave from the Hebrew Hammers was pitching coach Neil Barclay, who led the Hebrew Hammers in to a league leading 3.63 ERA. Barclay will be making his second stint in the BBA after spending 2043-44 with Valencia. Pedro Medina comes in as the new manager having compiled a .420 career winning percentage having managed parts of 7 seasons with Long Beach and Portland. Chris Workman comes to Charm City to handle the hitting coach duties. Workman will be making his BBA debut. Miguel Martinez comes to Charm City as our new 1B coach after spending the past 4 seasons as the 1B coach with Riyadh of the GBC. Mike Perkins comes in as the new 3B coach in his coaching debut. Holdovers were bench coach Luis Perez as the bench coach and Nour Bin Hilal as the trainer.

At the press conference for Dave B he stated that the goal this season will be to improve the quality and quantity of the minor league system while getting control of our finances. The Jimmies lost over 11 million dollars last season and were projected to lose more this season before trades of SP: Dan Small to Charlotte and CF: Felix Roman were made to held solidify the finances and add talent to a farm system that was seen as mid pack.

Our goals this year with the team will be to continue to build up the farm system and hopefully see our young talent in the upper levels continue to improve and hopefully start to show they will be building pieces both now and in the future.
