Charm City Genius, GM Hopkins, announced his second free agent signing of the silly season today, thirty two year old first baseman, Tommy Cochran.

The geriatric journeyman Cochran, 'enjoyed' the worst season of his career in 2049 for Seattle, having a slash line of .259/.304/.401/.705 in 494 at bats with 13 homeruns. Genius rewarded the struggling senior with a three year, $2.2 million per for three seasons.

Cochran is expected to platoon at first base with young Colm Alker; who is reportedly overjoyed at the prospect of losing his at bats against left handed pitchers.
