Warehouse Wire 2042.02: I got 5 on it
Off to a 3-2 start, the team was powered by the years first player of the week in the JL, Tomás Guillén.
For the week, he hit .429 on 9 hits in 21 ab's, with 5 HR's and 7 RBI's. What may be most impressive is that he hit those 5 home runs in 5 consecutive games.
"I just got good pitches to hit and got a good swing on them," said Guillén. "You know, I'm not really a home run hitter. Or don't consider myself one. I just try to go with what they give me. Some just so happen to go out of the park."
Guillén is coming off a rookie campaign that saw him hit .347 with 23 HR's emerging as one of the better CF's in the BBA. While not a superstar, he looks to be a very good player going forward. His first week suggests a sophomore slump isn't in the works.
"He's a big part of our potential success," said GM Brandon Slouck via conference call. "Of course he was fantastic last year and we expect big things from him. He's one of the young guys who needs to produce if we want to make a playoff run."
An IFA back in 2037, Tomás Guillén looks to be off to a tremendous start in establishing himself as a star in the BBA along with Charm City as a contender.
"I'm ready to get this franchise back to the playoffs," Guillén said. "The city is ready for playoff baseball again."

Sure I can. To be honest, I had not idea you swept me until you said something. I lost 6 games last sim and had no idea who it was to.

Brandon, get your GM off the sauce and tell him to start considering baseball lol.
I’m sure you will be very many places ahead of me at the end, but every dog must have its day in the sun
