Gabriel Flores | C | Tabriz (IFA)
Analysis: Flores has a chance to be one of the premier power hitters in the game at a premium position. He also is a switch hitter, so hopefully he manages to avoid platoon issues as he develops. The kid already posses a solid arm behind the plate, but he has a long way to go. He also has some character flaws the Jimmies normally don't like to take risks on, but the talent was too good to pass up.

Round 2, 4th pick, #34 Overall
Susumu Nakanishi | 3B | Mosul (IFA)
Analysis: The Jimmies were looking at multiple 3B at the 4th pick in the draft before taking Flores. The lefty hitting kid out of Japan may not be worth of a pick that high, but the team was very happy to get him at #34. While he has some work to do at 3B, he has a nice arm there. He also has the potential to be a very good bat in the BBA. He has above average talents across the board, making him a well rounded option here. Again, he also will need some time to develop. But the team feels they have drafted their future 3B with this pick.
