Warehouse Wire 2050.05: Kawaguchi bright spot in horrific season

Post by felipe » Sat Apr 09, 2022 6:04 pm

Twenty-seven year old First baseman, Tadasuke Kawaguchi, gave the Charm City fans a reason to come out to the ballpark in June as the youngster won the JL Top Batter with 11 taters and 21 ribbies with a slash line of .369/.461/.923/1.384 in 65 at bats.

"I don't know why that idiot kept in the minors until the last week in May," Tad said," I'm a big leaguer dammit. And a damn good one at that."

"I don't have a clue what I'm doing," confirmed GM Genius Hopkins," I really did think Tad was way worse than the others...maybe I'll go stats only from now on...it can't make things any worse."

"Oh yeah, the whole team is now on the trade block. The two superstars are likely too pricey for anyone to deal for, and I'm really only looking for guys with minor league options for the other clowns."

The Charm City juggernaut currently sits at second last place in the JL Atlantic with a 35-52 record...a mere 19 games out of first.
