With the ink now dry on Chuck Dickens’ new $1.9 one-year deal with Edmonton, Jackrabbits was prolific in his comments and gave great detail in his synopsis of the Dickens and the agreement.

So he begins a new chapter with Edmonton and we do hope he’ll consider staying, but we do recognize Chuck’s nature to reach the end of the season seeing a Bleak House and moving to his next fine work like the nomad he is. The clubhouse won’t like it when he sings A Christmas Carol in the middle of August which he is want to do All The Year Round. He is a Captain but that’s what happens when you’re in the Army and you can’t take the title way. Chuck always takes things so literarily. But his teammates do put up with him because he's an open book and has the write stuff."
