Jackrabbits SP Chris "Wolf" Moran and RP Fernando Moran are not related to each other. And now they are also on opposite ends of the spectrum based on their 2054 fortunes and statistical output.

"Wolf" Moran has had an excellent start and will be a shoo-in for his first All-Star selection if he can maintain this pace. 7 starts in the season, the confident righty is 5-0 with 2.38 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 188 ERA+. He's putting together quite the stat line for a BBA starter in his contract year. He'll be looking at a nice payday in 2055 if he stays on top of BBA hitters.

And then there's Fernando Moran.

He has 4 holds and 5 saves, somehow. But he also has an 0-3 record and a blown save. His struggles of late have been substantial. The demoted closer now possesses a 11.93 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 38 ERA+ in 14.1 innings of work. If not for his veteran status and lack of options, he'd already have been sent down somewhere. If May continues to brutal, being released outright is not out of the question, according to Edmonton sources. Fernando will need to turn it around somewhat, or this will undoubtedly be 35-year old's final chance with the Jackrabbits, let alone the BBA.

Be careful out there, BBA pitchers. It's a windshield or a bug world.

A shame Wolf has never been an all-star. He's always been an under-the-radar over-achiever.
