Apart from occasionally competitive BBA action, the Edmonton Jackrabbits sport another asset - the best concessions in the BBA, as rated by BBA media expert Lem Piker Sr.

"I always love taking trips to Edmonton," admitted Piker Sr. "The team goes above and beyond with their food and beverages. Their menu is so popular that the team has even opened a take-out area (called The Filthy Rabbit) outside the stadium that is open all year!"

The Jackrabbits concessions uses the motto "Twentieth Century Prices, Timeless Eats!". The food and affordable prices makes Jackrabbits games a major draw for tourists, regulars and prospective free agents alike. Below is their current in-game menu. Prices are doubled when purchasing items from The Filthy Rabbit during the off-season.

$4 Frontier Salad - A large plate of lettuce mixed with spinach, snow pea, carrots, mushrooms, banana pepper, cucumber and black beans. Sprinkled with vinegar and topped with croutons and crushed red pepper, with your choice of dressing (1,000 Island recommended)

$4 Late Breakfast - A sausage, egg and cheese croissant, with sides of fresh grapes and mini-donuts.

$3 Honcho Chili - A bowl of sweet, sassy and sticky chili topped with crackers. Our own general manager's secret recipe!

$4 The Platoon - Our homemade beef jerky! A large bag of mixed strips with some smoky and salted, others seasoned with hickory sweet teriyaki.

$3 Running Taco - An oversized single-serving bag of Chili Cheese Fritos, topped with taco-seasoned ground beef, Monterrey Jack cheese, lettuce, black olive, cherry tomatoes, jalapeno, pinto beans, ranch dressing and spicy picante sauce.

$3 CB&B Burger - A yummy 1/3 pound patty topped with cheddar cheese, Canadian Bacon and bacon.

$2 Award-winning Pizzaburger - Wrapped in foil and easy to carry to your seat! Pizza craving satisfied!

$2 Chili Con Queso Nachos

$3 Crisp,Creamy and Runny - A softball-sized scoop of fried ice cream with chocolate syrup or caramel topping.

$2 Wife's Delight - Just like the fair! A funnel cake coated with powdered sugar and optionally topped with chocolate syrup or strawberries.

Taking inflation into consideration, those prices are a steal!

Damn it, even the minor league team near me doesn't offer those prices!

That's Canadian dollars. In US dollars multiply by 6.25 for the exchange rate.
