If the Hares looked bad in 2050, and they did, things look to be much worse in 2051. But meanwhile, there are some guys on the roster who will still provide some production. This feature will look back on the previous week and identify some standout performances.

JACKS OF THE SIM - SIM #2

The Jacks had a full 7-game Sim and emerged on the other side with only 1 win. They finished off a 4-game series in Charlotte with the 3rd loss of the slate to leave the Queen City 1-3. The Hares then returned home to host New Orleans for 4 games and were only able to pull out one win (though it was a nice 2-1 effort). The Sim wrapped up with Edmonton dropping the first 2 games of a 3-game series in Las Vegas. The losses weren't terribly lopsided with a 10-3 Crawdad loss being the largest margin of defeat.

Pitcher

Niccolo 'Notorious' Destefani
(2 G, 2 GS, 1-0, 2.38 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, +0.2 WAR)

Destefani had an outstanding outing in Edmonton vs New Orleans tossing 8 innings allowing 5 hits, 1 run, and 1 walk while striking out 3 Crawdads. He handed it over to CL Juan Santana to earn the win. That was needed as he only made it thru 3.1 innings in his first start in Charlotte.

Batter

RF Bastião Fardos
(12 G, 2 2B, 3 3B, 1 HR, 9 RBI, .386/.426/.659, +0.5 WAR)

Slim pickings at the plate over the Sim but it projects to be that way all season. This week we'll go with Fardos again who slashed .385/.429/.577 while driving in 3 runs and bagging 3 doubles.

Sim #2: P Niccolo Destefani, RF Bastião Fardos
Sim #1: P Carlos Rodda, RF Bastião Fardos
Ben Teague, GM Boise Spuds
2682-3175, .457 PCT (5,857 games, 36 seasons)
11 Playoff Appearances, 1 Championship
