Jack Rabbit Free Press Vol 1 No 3

Bobby Lynch adjust’s the cap as he brings his hand to the belt and into the glove. The 6’3 Left hander stares in for the sign. He checks the runner on first winds and he deals a nasty 12-6 curve in the dirt and collects a swinging strike from Hector Cantu. San Antonio came in to the path of the Jack Rabbits ace and was struck down for the third time on the day. Lynch was making his sixth appearance since coming off the DL from a Ruptured ulnar collateral Liagament that saw him out the majority of 2035.

“He definitely needs to be at the top of his form for us to have a chance to win” stated the bench coach Jonathon Johnson after coming away with a 4-2 win at home. Winning hasn’t come easy this far into the 2036 campaign as they sit at the bottom of the Frontier Division with a 31 and 58 record.

Rumour has it Lynch might be among trade speculation on the club. Other teams have shown interest but there hasn’t been a solid offer on the table thus far. Does it make sense to trade such a cornerstone piece in the BBA at this point? Edmonton hasn’t fared well with or without him to this point in there history. Currently Lynch is rated the 7th best SP in the league according to OSA. He is 24 years old and has 3 years of arbitration left. In the up and coming years Edmonton is going to have to put together a competitive team to benefit from the young aces talent!

You have such a talented young squad I would keep him and build around him.
