Rabbit on a Roll (Hoppy Endings, Sim 8) [PP:2052.15]

Former Nashville catcher Alberto Rodgriguez has been on a very good roll lately for his new team, the Edmonton Jackrabbits. He's hit safely in his last five games and has his slash line up to .291/.364/.521. If Alberto can stay on track, this might rival his excellent 2045 campaign, where he hit .308 with 91 RBI's and recorded an excellent 5.8 WAR. Rodriguez is on the strong side of a catching platoon and often hits 6th or 7th in the Edmonton lineup. Jackrabbits management may start to move him up even higher if the hot hitting continues.

Rodriguez credits the management of interim skipper Mark Stuart for his recent success. "Coach Stuart is doing a great job in the dugout," stated Rodriguez. "Team feels so together and we've been playing hard for each other since the tragic incident that put Mr. Bauer in the hospital. It feels good to play hard for our front office and reward them for their commitment to us. The pitching has been incredible too. The BBA is a tough league and it's hard to make the postseason, but the playoffs aren't out of question this year. We know we can surprise people."

Rodriguez is sure to garner some all star votes, and if things keep clicking he could make his 6th All Star team. Rodriguez and the surprising Jackrabbits are a team worth keeping an eye on as we move into June.

You are doing a great job with Edmonton. There is a lot of grunt work that goes into a rebuild. You can tell that you are paying attention to all the small details. It will take some time, but the Jack Rabbits will be a team to watch in 3-4 years.
