Arcs of Triumph: 25.07 September "Too Low - Pull Up"

After getting swept by London to fall to a season-worst 12 games below .500 and the injuries at critical mass, the Patriots finally pulled out of their summer-long malaise and stormed through the second half of September winning 13 of 18 to close out with a 15-11 record in September (1-4 against London

). Again, the bats and arms can't quite get in sync and the bats come alive again in September (especially the power) but the pitchers struggle [after the pitchers trying to cover for the cold bats through much of July]. Despite all the injuries and inconsistent play, with just 6 games left, a non-losing season is still a [remote] possibility!

Again, sorry I left you in such bad shape. A near .500 record is better than I had hoped for if I was still running the team. At least you have some good youth.

Ted, they were in great shape but when you lose 30 months worth of starting production (and then have your best young hitter suffer a career ending setback), it's difficult to have a great season. I'm happy, even if we fall short of .500 because I think I have a pretty good feel for this team and at least have a very good bullpen and outfield to work with (plus a few nice prospects)

Yeah this team was absolutely devastated by injuries this season. Probably could've been competitive with a normal amount of injuries.

Yeah, 5 of the team's top 6 hitters all missed at least a month.
