The Weeting Power, London's AAA squad, named long-time veteran MBWBA pitcher Russell Vanness manager. Current Power manager Steve York has been doing a wonderful job with the 2nd place team but the chance to grab Vanness was too good for them to pass up. Vanness pitched for the Marquette Suns a few seasons before current GM Meseck was brought in. Vanness was a great presence in every clubhouse he was in, 10 teams in all. The all star pitcher, 200+ wins and 3,000+ strikeouts in his career, picked up little bits at every stop. The team hopes that he will impart that knowledge on all players coming up through the London system.
