BURT League
Cairo Chariot Archers BC 84-78 (76-86 3rd 2041)

Star Hitter 1B Mauro Garcia

Calgary's loss is Cairo's gain, you can't blame the Pioneers for giving up on Garcia, he was average, very average really. However be it the lesser skill set of the up and coming UMEBA, maybe it was a change of scenery, who knows but boy did he explode in his first season. 41 HR 118 RBI and if you want someone to put their body on the line look no further than the 28 HBP.

Star Pitcher Gonzalo Delgado

Joined Cairo in 2038 but swam around the minors mostly until last season, if 2041 was his break out season then Cairo could have found a diamond in the rough. No great shakes in the BBA used mostly in the bullpen specially after his second stint in the Twin Cities pen, he surprised many by picking up the torch of a starter in Cairo last season. His wins, losses weren't great at 12-13 in 32 starts but that could improve if Cairo give him run support and Delgado settles more into life in Cairo.

Biggest Gain RF Aubrey 'Suds' Anderson

'Suds' to his teammates and fans of the Chariot Archers felt like a gain even if he wasn't, Anderson could easily have been in the "biggest loss" seat instead of Kantara Masuda, would it have been a bigger loss you bet. 19 HR, 58 RBI and 25 Doubles doesn't seem much but throw in the work ethic he as and you have an all-around dirt dog that managers and specially fans love.

Biggest Loss Ramón Lugo

GM Nige Laverick left for pastures new was a blow for the Cairo franchise then Ramón Lugo who was thought to be his successor wasn't offered a contract, then Athens GM Neil Thomas stepped in short term but refused a longer term contract which meant Cairo lost more GMs than good players, hence the biggest loss.

Mr Influential Mauro Garcia

With Cairo yet another team looking at a rookie GM as the UMEBA is concerned, it's hard to equate which path he will travel. If wise words are listened to then it would be stay on the path of the last GM, however not all wise words are listened to
