Star Hitter - LF John Garcia.
In 5 seasons playing in the BBA for the Madison Wolves & Edmonton Jackrabbits Garcia hit 55 HR, 165 RBI and had a .344 OBP. In his first full season in the UMEBA he hit 56 HR that's 1 more than his career in the BBA, he also had 136 RBI. The .344 OBP was pumped up to a .370 OBP, to say Garcia is a star player let alone a star hitter is like saying the Grand Canyon is an hole in the ground.
Star Pitcher - Claudio Escobedo.
A valuable arm in more ways than one, Escobedo can start games if needed but his worth comes from the bullpen, if he can up his innings from the 116.1 he pitched in 2041 his value to the Bosphorus can only rise. However it's not only his stats the Bucharest franchise values, also in the equation is his leadership, a future pitching coach in the making.
Biggest Gain - SS Harlan 'Snow Job' Moore
Moore's worth will be down to his glove and also being able to spell Jose Lopez at SS. His main worth however will be replacing Juan Rodriguez at 2B who was lost to FA.
Biggest Loss - 1B Patrick Lue
Although Juan Rodriguez was a big loss at 2B, Patrick Lue will probably be a bigger loss, not only at DH but at 1B as well. His 16 HR will be missed along with his 60 RBI, throw in his being able to adapt to situations during a game and he may be a bigger loss than first thought.
